This retail client previously used another design company in Scotland, but the client was unhappy with the design output. I was suggested to them by a friend and very quickly started working with them.
The simple challenge for this project was to give the client a new logo that was a better and a quirkier representation of where the business was and how it should appear to public.
In this competitive market, they needed a new logo that stood out more that the current execution. It was a consumer focused brand and the new logo and brand identity had to reflect the retail product in a more diverse, dynamic and friendly way. The logo had to have more personality and flexibility.
The new logo and brand identity was developed onto consumer leaflets, newly designed interactive web site, app development and exhibition materials to promote the new branding. The project was split into retailer and consumer focused design with a neat location based search tool to find retailers that had signed up to the points based loyalty scheme.
I also designed a standalone app and sales tool for retailers. This allowed them to keep track of the points on their loyalty cards. I collaborated with developers in India to build the app. The web site was built in Scotland.
The client was delighted with the final outcome and it served them very well in the short space of time that the business was trading.
